Illustration Friday: Tree

For this week's Illustration Friday prompt I have searched through my archives to find this illustration I did for a competition to illustrate the  Julia Donaldson book, Fredddie and the Fairy. Waterstones ran the competition in 2009 to find a new book illustrating talent.  Needless to say, I was one of many entries and did not make the final cut!

Work in Progress

Its been ages since I posted anything on here or took part in Illustration Friday.
I am working on a large project which has taken me ages, what with being a Mum and all the stuff that goes with that, it is a rare thing to be able to actually sit down and concentrate on work. Summer has past to autumn very quickly the leaves are blowing about. Soon it will be winter and thoughts turn once again to skiing!!
Anyway, here is a little peek at what I am working on; I have been hanging out at farms recently, chatting up farmers, gathering some inspiration.

Illustration Friday: Teacher

Its been ages since my last post. My boys were on School Holidays, so I managed very little illustration work during this time. They have returned to school and nursery now, very appropriate topic at Illustration Friday this week is Teacher.

Illustration Friday: Hurry

Hooray! The Olympic torch is arriving in Scotland on Friday and will be passing through my hometown of Aviemore on Monday, so hurry down to the Four Seasons Lawn on Monday to join in the Shenanigans.

Illustration Friday: Faded

I was surprised and delighted to discover that this week's Illustration Friday prompt was my suggestion! So here is my row of little faded beach huts! I have never seen a beach hut, there are none in Scotland, but I would love to have one in my garden!

More Panda Love

It's been a while since my last blog, fortunately an extra day allows me to squeeze in a quick February entry. I have been very busy penning a new giant colour-in poster, available to buy at www.reallygiantposters.com.

Poor Panda

Yang Guang, Edinburgh Zoo's Male Panda, has colic and feeling a bit poorly.
I always found a dose of Infacol worked wonders with my two boys!

Happy New Year everyone.
Hope 2012 brings you all happiness and good health.
